
The CPA BOARD EXAMINATIONS is administered by the Professional Regulations Commission of the Philippines through the BOARD OF ACCOUNTANCY twice in a year. The LICENSURE EXAMINATIONS is scheduled to span to four days, with a week of recess in between two weekend days. They are scheduled to be administered on the months of May and October, usually at the last two weekends of the said months. The subjects or core competencies measured in the CPA LICENSURE EXAMINATIONS are (1) Theory of Accounts, (2) Business Law and Taxation, (3) Management Advisory Services, (4) Auditing Theory, (5) Auditing Problems, (6) Practical Accounting Problems I, and (7) Practical Accounting Problems II.
This month culminates the five months of endless study for the OCTOBER 2008 CPA BOARD EXAM reviewees. Having been through the same test of patience and perseverance, October is met with a lot of pressure and uncertainties. The CPA Board Exams this October 2008 not only concludes all the effort that a student has exerted, on the CPA review for the last months of study but it determines the future career of an individual. The money, time and sweat invested for the OCTOBER 2008 CPA BOARD EXAMS will all be put to test on the last two weekends of this month.
The CPA LICENSURE EXAMINATIONS is a young professional’s first test and taste of harsh realities that not all a person wants can be achieved at will. And that only those who have paid their sweat hard enough will reap the bounty. Equally too, CPA LICENSE will be the passport of a young professional to carry him through the real world. The RESULTS OF THEÂ 2008 CPA LICENSURE EXAMINATIONS are normally released two days after the last examination day by the Board of Accountancy. Passing this exam is far more exciting than any bachelor party gifts.
